Principle of Measurement:
Automated sampling of 8 solid adsorbent cartridges, sequence
controlled by Tattletale datalogger, with flows controlled by flow
controller, housekeeping files collected on data logger.
In situ/Remote/Flux Measurement:
Has been previously used on towers for gradient and REA
sampling. Has just completed aircraft campaign successfully.
Field projects in which the instrument has been used:
June 1995: SOS Nashville intensive; tower gradients.
June 1996: SOS Duke forest study; REA tower fluxes.
November-December 1996: EXPRESSO, Central African Republic, aircraft
deployment: whole air sampling.
Aircraft Platform:
French ARAT (Fokker 27?)
Inlet Configuration/Location:
1/4 ss or teflon tubing
Calibration/Cross Calibration:
