Sounding Archive General Information

The sounding data for a project are gathered across many days from several stations. Thus, to provide a straight-forward way to access the sounding data information, this archive organizes the infomation in two ways: by day and by station. Moreover, to make the archive more useful, each sounding reference has a color identication that indicates the sounding's launch station. For example, to the left of all sounding references for TOGA COARE, PRC Ship #5, appears a blue arrow, . The color identifications are intended to make the archive more usable and easier on the eyes.
