My research is focused on developing new laser based precision instruments for atmospheric research. Currently, I am focused on developing two compact tunable mid-IR laser sources based on fiber optic pumped difference-frequency generation for the detection of Formaldehyde (CH2O) and isotopic ratio of Carbon Dioxide (12/13 CO2).
In addition, I am taking part in developing a new Laser Doppler Velocimeter for HIAPER.
Available resources on this web-page include selected presentations, papers, photos, and movies.
My research is conducted within the Analytical Photonics & Optoelectronics Laboratory (APOL) with support of the Technology Development Facility (TDF) of the Earth Observing Laboratory (EOL) at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR).
